Dr. Kimeron Hardin has been practicing in the fields of clinical and health psychology for over 16 years and has authored and co-authored numerous books, articles, book chapters and reviews. He currently lives and works in the San Francisco Bay Area and he is best known for his work in two areas, namely human sexuality and mental health as well as wellness, stress reduction and chronic pain. Although at first these areas seem very different, he believes that a basic sense of healthy self-esteem lie at the core for both.
Over the years, he has practiced clinically in medical clinics and hospitals primarily, beginning with his internship at Duke and later on the faculty of several of the countryâs best medical centers including Wake Forest University School of Medicine and the University of California at San Francisco/Mt. Zion Pain Management Center. Currently, he is the Director of the Functional Restoration at the Bay Area Pain & Wellness Center in Los Gatos, California and is affiliated with Stanford University Medical Center in Palo Alto.
Dr. Hardin is the co-author of The Chronic Pain Control Workbook: A Step by Step Guide for Coping With and Overcoming Pain.
