From touring across the country with a gospel group to recording jingles, Kimber Manning has become a mainstay on the Nashville scene. With numerous television and radio performances under her belt, this Daytona Beach native has made her living singing since her early twenties.

âMusic has always been a part of who I am. I can remember being totally captivated by the music my dad played on the radio when I was a childâ¦Ella Fitzgerald and Sarah Vaughan had me from the first note. Those two women really knew how to make a song come alive,â said Manning.

Fitzgerald was a major influence in Manningâs take of âBlue Skiesâ for her freshman release, âEventually.â Recorded in just one take in the studio without any overdubs or electronic alteration, Manning effortlessly caresses each note with the grace of a seasoned professional.

Without sacrificing emotion or skill, Manning pulls back in songs like âWhen I Fall in Loveâ and âWhat a Wonderful World.â The arrangements remain familiar, yet the vocal treatment incorporates a gentle modern twist.

Recording an album of mostly covers was an organic process. âAs I was searching for songs to feature on my debut release, I found myself totally immersed in a collection of old love songs. The simple joys of life, love and laughter found in these songs is often lost in the music of today,â said Manning. âI wanted to give a younger generation of listeners the chance to discover the music I enjoyed so much as a child.â
