Kevin has developed over the years into one of northeastâs top singer-songwriters and is one of the most sought-after entertainers in WNY.
A 4-Time winner at the Buffalo Music Awards, Kevin was twice voted Top Solo Artist (â00 & â01), his former band was also twice voted Top Original Group (â95 & â96).
Since 1988, Kevin has performed throughout WNY, U.S., and Canada. The past 4 years, Kevin was selected to play on the Labatt Blue Outfitters Tour (â02, â03, â04, â05) which traveled to many cities, festivals, and venues throughout the U.S. and with the tour played before Dave Mason â Seven Springs, Pennsylvania, Coldplay â Darien Lake, New York, and Lynyrd Skynyrd â Cleveland Grand Prix, Ohio among many others.
Playing energy-driven live shows at festivals, colleges, companies, and at the top clubs in WNY, Kevin has also been playing weekly for over 8 years at one of the top college party bars in WNY, Mr. Goodbar, when he is not touring. Kevinâs most recent shows included stops in Greenwich, CT, The Bahamas, Windmill Pt, CA.
Kevinâs new CD, âHigh On Youâ was released on March 3rd, 2006. It is filled with crafty, radio-ready pop songs & the newly formed âThe Kevin McCarthy Bandâ will playing many shows to promote the release of album.
