Listen Lisse started out as a solo performer with Lisa McKendrick from New Zealand on vocals and guitar, since then it has evolved into a duo. Current members are: Lisa McKendrick vocals, guitar and kick drum, Eddie Darko on guitar

In June 2007 Listen Lisse released a solo album called âItâs Not Youâ which is a combination of different songs which are moody and atmospheric but also energetic. The sound is filled out with a combination of instruments: guitars, tambourine, violin and synths and drum machine. "I recorded the songs wanting to leave in little human errors and rebelled against highly produced mainstream music, I wanted it to be raw and unnerving but also to have a soothing kind of beauty"
