Shira Lev has style. To watch her on stage is mesmerizing. She performs with a feeling of passion that holds her audiences in a trance. The Israeli singer is releasing her debut album âBe Shem Ha Ahava (In the Name of Love)â, containing eleven heart-stopping songs in Hebrew, which include rock, pop and Latin-style music. The album contains a fabulous mix of genres written and composed by the master guitarist, Shir Nash.

Shiraâs passion is music. She knew from an early age that she was destined to be on stage. From childhood, she and her sister lived around music. Her sister played multiple instruments and the duo spent much of their time singing and performing just for fun.

At age nine, it was time to start learning for real and she began opera lessons in Italian. As a native Hebrew speaker, Shira learned the rote lyrics and sang everything she was taught for several years at a renown music school in her home town of Yehud, Israel. She studied dance and voice and loved every minute.

During her high school years, she majored in theatre arts at Makeef Yehud. Performing was her life inside and out of school.

After school, she felt ready. She had studied, performed and prepared for her life ambition and began looking for an avenue for her profession. Then, through fate and a friend, she met Shir Nash, master guitarist, writer, composer, author and teacher of music.

She began recording original songs for her debut album, Be Shem Ha Ahava and performing all around the country in the âCome and Get Meâ tour with the VH1 winner, âRebeccaâ, an American singer and performer. Together they perform their multi-lingual and multi-cultural songs off their respective albums. What a great combination of music, all written and produced by their manager, Shir Nash.
