INTIMATE STRANGERS: TALES OF DARK SUSPENSE

Based on the short stories of Stanley Wiater

âIntimate Strangersâ is a fully dramatized collection of four classic stories from the creator of televisionâs Dark Dreamersâ¢. Utilizing top-notch performances and superb state-of-the-art sound design, Voices In My Head® Productions presents these unforgettable tales of psychological terror by the three time Bram Stoker Award-winning author. The Toucher was the sole winner of a competition judged by Stephen King.

* End of the Line: A late-night subway passenger fears that the person sitting across from him looks frighteningly familiar.

* The Toucher: A young girl from the backwoods of the 1930âs must deal with a new stranger in her small town.

* Moist Dreams: Which is the worst fateâthe nightmare or the morning afterâs reality?

* Mysteries of the Word: Only a single word stands between a young boyâs life and a horror straight out of the Cthulhu Mythos.

A companion volume to Dark Dreamers, entitled Dark Visions: Conversations with the Masters of the Horror Film (1992), was a Bram Stoker finalist. Comic Book Rebels: Conversations with the Creators of the New Comics (1993) co-authored with Stephen R. Bissette, was both an Eisner Award and Harvey Award nominee. While Dark Thoughts On WritingâAdvice and Commentary from Fifty Masters of Fear and Suspense won him the Bram Stoker Award in 1998.
