Full Name: Reginald Cordell Howard

Rap Name: Goodie Man aka Coolie C

Born In: Newark, New Jersey 1974

Goodie Man first started out on the DJ scene back in 1989, where he started making tapes and selling them before the Tape Shacks started popping up on every corner. He was one of the first hardcore hip hop DJs in the area. Goodie Man started out in Polk County but begin to venture out in others town. The name DJ Coolie C started to take over the DJ game. He hit all the local clubs out of town such as Tampa, Orlando, north and south Florida. Before the DJ scene he started out singing in church on Sunday. He used to visit different churches and sing all types of church selections. In 1994 he decided to give the hip hop game a try. It came natural to him by being a DJ it introduce him to this rap game. He always felt that he had the talent, but the timing wasnât right. Until 1996, he did a show with Trick Daddy in Kissimmee at the Motel. Then he performed with 8Ball, MJG, Too Short, and Trick Daddy in Daytona at Black College Reunion. Those shows proved he was ready caused the audience went crazy. Now signing to Wyde Open Records the Goodie Man is taking his art and punch lines to the next level. Like the Goodie Man says âI got that fire Sooooo come check with meâ. The rest is history.
