Arising out of the desert city of Tucson, AZ, The Goodbye Kiss was born of a philosophy to write the music that they know, the music that is true to them. The quartet, comprised of Tucson natives; drummer Sam Abate, guitarist Josh Smith, bassist/singer Ian Cain, and singer/guitarist Petie Ronstadt, isn't afraid to venture forward into the depths of music rarely explored by todays artists. They dabble in textures, space and melodies that bring out an emotional stronghold on those who listen, those who let music take them to a different place, those who allow themselves to get lost in the moment. Being young, this four piece has nowhere to go but to mature their sound, and to continue breaking any boundaries that they, or anyone else has set in the path of what a song should be.
