Don't let their name fool you, the Comforts are a high-energy pop rock band.

The Comforts are five talented musicians drawing their inspiration from five decades of rock music. Their sound, though, is pure pop: simple, melodic yet driving and inspiring. Lynne's silky vocals pour sweetly over Paul's catchy guitar riffs and Jim's solid back beats. Add Dave's punk antics on bass and Tim's cheeky keys and you've got a powerful yet soothing collection of tale-telling songs. The Comforts sing about small town girls (who keep you up a night), chance encounters, compassion, growing wise, taking fantasy trips to the other side of town and, finding love after pain.

The Comforts are an audience particpation band; If you don't come to them, they will come to you! The Comforts want you dancing, drinking and singing along!
