On the heels of his last smooth jazz instrumental guitar CD release "Get 2D Point", Kenny Lee Lewis has re-packaged his soon to be released CD entitled "New Vintage". These three new tracks are being offered as a preview to that new release. As a member of the Steve Miller Band for over 27 years, Kenny Lee has found time in between touring to record these three gems showing the diversity of his musical tastes. Up-tempo funky "Chicken Strut" harkens back to The Brecker Bros. and Tower of Power" followed by a dreamy version of Creepin' composed by Steve Wonder. The last offering is a Euro-Classical pop cover of the beautiful theme from the the movie "Gladiator" starring Russell Crowe and shows off Kenny's classical guitar prowess. Visions of Cirque de Soleil acrobats and colorful sound-scapes come to mind while relaxing to this Hans Zimmer, Lisa Garrett composition.
