Gary is the founder of Escotica Productions and one of the most dynamic R&B recording artists that playsâ seven instruments and has four-octave vocal range. (This explains his performing each and every vocal on his C.D). His guitar licks are a reflection of his personality and gospel background paying tribute to his predecessors. Hendrix, Carlos Santana, Prince just to name a few. Vocally he is has been swayed by Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin, Curtis Mayfield and Al Green.
Gary has toured throughout the world in such places as Hong Kong, Beijing China, Jakarta, Indonesia, Morocco, Tokyo, as well as Osaka Japan; Heâs also done his time on chitâlin circuit, playing at colleges and night clubs throughout the U.S. rocking local stages and venues in over 60 cities.
He was once signed to Warner Bros. label and two independent record labels (H.C.R.C. and I.R.S.). His career has continued to ascend to new heights in both the underground and mainstream of the music market. Upon signing with TCB Entertainment/Escotica Records his new single that was released March 2006 Thinking Boutchoo entered the Billboard Charts Hot R& B/Hip Hop Singles Sales last week debut at #12 and is currently #5.
Garyâs arsenal consists of a 1200 original song library of songs that await their turn to be released on his future C.D.âs. They range from his trademark sound of Gospel Rock & Soul to Hip Hop R&B to a Futuristic Funk with a heavy dance flava.
Gary has performed for over thirty thousand people along with openings for such acts as the Gap Band, Cheap Trick, the Fat Boys and members of the Sheila E. Band and Taylor Dane. Main performances to our President, Bill Clinton, (Grand opening of the Presidential Library in Little Rock, AR.), CEO and President of Fed Ex, Mr. Fred Smith (New Years Eve Concert), Naomi Campbell and Christy Turlington (Grand opening the Fashion Café in Indonesia).
Among his lifelong goals is a desire to provide opportunities for new artist. Gary Escoe is destined to be the next entrepreneur, producer, writer, musician, and artist who will develop lasting relationships in the global music business and community.
