INSTRUMENTAL COLLECTION from Gashouse Dave
Companion to HOT ROD. This is a Chronicle of the early G5 MacIntosh sessions, the beginning of Y tunes, I tunes, digital downloads, new global, and the activation of my old vinyl RAMBOVA records @1991, updated to Rambov Digita. Several trax went on to CBS. But the TRUTH is> that this might have started out as a 'test market' instrumental blues guitar project, or an excuse to put "passed over" media tracks into a collection. Then it was too many cool jams, and was on its way to a 3rd record! I was tempted to dismantle the jams and pair them up/couple them like old 45's. I had to put on the brakes. Much of what I learned about loop grooves, substitutional pre-amp (digital amplifiers) appears in these songs, and tones I liked made me begin to back up ideas on the POD PRESETS. I switched to Telecaster(s), and went through several Custom Shop axes, bought and sold several guitars during this project! I settled in with another Esquire, Broadcaster, and picked up an old beat /mod-ed Silverface Super reverb 4x10's amp- and retubed it. *Influences of Mike Bloomfield, Jimi Hendrix, Robin Trower. Since logging this project back in Feb., I have received many compliments from Guitarplayers in Belgium & BURBANK! Thank you one and all!
