Lucy, a native of Uganda, second younges of eight children and the only one who got formal education, thanks to her missionary benefactors who paid for her education. Lucy uses the proceeds of her work to promote education of children in her native Uganda. She moved to the USA in 1983 to escape the aftermath of Dictator ID Amin. After completing her nursing degree, she was hired by the Holy cross health care system to work at St. Alphonsus hospital where she has worked for the past 23 years. For the past ten years Lucy has played Congas/ bongos for her Church's adult choir and youth service band. Lucy's music reflects her rich African heritage intertwined with the American influence to create a unique music style that offers something for everyone.
