Alexis was born in Santiago de Cuba,Cuba .He gained his education from "Conservatory of Santiago" de Cuba.
He's experience goes back to twenty-one years af playing profesionally and establishing a career as one of the island's most respected pianist,arranger and composer.Alexis has worked as a musical director and composer for Emilio and Gloria Estefan for eigth years at the prestigius Larios on the Beach.Mr Ortega has toured the world and shared stage with the best of latin and international music including Arturo Sandoval,Nestor Torres,Cuban All Star,Oscar D' Leon and many more.
In 2006 he accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior and he decided to record this beatifull album.It's perfect por any reunion at your church or in you home.
