GARY NICHOLS - the singer/songwriter

This is an all-original album and showcases Gary's songwriting talents. All songs but two songs on this album were either written or co-written by Gary.

First Second Thoughts (cut#1) and I've Got A Radio Too! (cut#8) won Gary a finalist spot at the Kerrville Folk Festival Songwriting Competition in 1997. In 1996, he was featured on a special acoustic songwriter segment at SXSW in Austin, TX.

Most of the album was written after and during Gary's recovery from vocal chord surgery while on total voice rest for 6 weeks. Writing was a good outlet for him to express his feelings that he couldn't speak out on.

Subject To Change was the first thing he recorded when his voice came back.

A Nashville resident since 1991, Gary's been invited to showcase his songs at Tin Pan South, The Bluebird Cafe, the Country Music Hall of Fame, and other songwriter venues.
