There is a woman who is anointed to lead those held captive by the enemy out of his clutches by implementing practical teaching and wisdom life lessons. She has a heart for those that are broken and hurting, sharing with them Godâs message of love and hope. She is known as a prolific preacher and teacherâ¦she is known as Apostle Freida Cates.

She began her journey in ministry nearly 15 years ago working with youth and auxiliaries, impacting communities throughout the United States and England. Her local church, Faith Assembly Christian Center Word of Truth, where she serves as the Founder and Senior Minister, continues to reach into the community through her vision for the betterment of the lives all people in Raleigh, NC and beyond. In just six years, Word of Truth has provided more than just a place of worship but also a full service child care facility, the Faith Assembly Christian Child Development Center, and a middle and high school academy, the New Beginnings School of Etiquette and Excellence.

Apostle Cates is also known to be a woman of many talents by possessing a multi-faceted anointing through the element of the worshipping arts which includes interpretive dance and pantomime. Moreover, she is a successful entrepreneur having owned and operated Gifts by Freida, a special notions gift store, and authored a forth coming book, Single in the Pulpit.

Most recently Apostle Cates teamed up with acclaimed Producer, Greg Drumwright and his cast, to release a Spoken Word Gospel Music CD entitled, âSo You Would Knowâ¦â which has made its way into radio airplay. Her inspiration to record a spoken word project resulted in a unique record complete with full musical composition that has gained the attention of consumers and radio announcers throughout NC in its first few months of release. Her CD is vastly growing into being a successful contribution to the gospel music industry.

God is using Apostle Freida Cates to carry out her designated assignment of âbuilding people.â Her Apostolic anointing has given her hundreds of sons and daughters from other ministries and movements who sit under her teaching and mentorship. Her journey through many challenges and struggles in life has proven her to be a champion in the spirit and a survivor amongst survivors. Thusly, she has dedicated her life to winning and saving lives for Jesus Christ. Apostle Cates is also the biological mother of three beautiful children Anthony, Jelisa, and Charles and the proud grandmother of Sumaya Jazlyn.
