James Andrews, a native of Indianapolis founded New Seasons in 1999. Since its inception, God has shown great favor towards the ministry, allowing the group to see many give their lives to Christ. Kee, Tye Tribbett, Marvin Sapp, Rodnie Bryant, VaShawn Mitchell, Kierra Sheard, Steve Lawrence and Deitirck Haddon just to name a few. James Andrews & New Seasons was awarded The 2009 I Hear Music Idol Winners, also in 2006 received "The Best Choir Awardâ at Dorinda Clark-Coleâs Music Conference and ministered at the V.I.P. Music and Arts Seminar hosted by Pastor John P. Kee. In 2003, New Seasons was runner-up in the Radio ONE gospel showcase and also placed 1st in the Gospel Quest hosted by Dr. Bobby Jones.
