Singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Garon is bringing the rock back to rock-n-roll with strong pop songs and vintage rock sounds. After playing many rolls in many bands, Garon a 14-year veteran of the stage and studio has stepped into the limelight choosing to write and record on his own. His first solo effort " 4 more songs of love and war", a four song E.P. released in 1998 on his own KRE Music label, saw Garon writing and recording, drums, bass, electric and acoustic guitars plus lead and backing vocals himself.
Starting as a drummer in the grade school orchestra until his first drum set was bought in 1986 and ask to leave the school band. It didn't matter though, rock-n-roll was in the veins, living, eating and breathing it. After touring through out the Midwest and east coast in DIY punk bands Garon moved to Milwaukee and crafted his writing. Through the next couple of years Garon spent much time playing with many Milwaukee bands including Pop Star 69, Rob McCuen and the Ruins, Bomb Digity, The Wooldridge Brothers, Lovestory plus many more playing drums, bass, guitar and singing lead and backing vocals.
Now out the follow up full-length album with Milwaukee producer Jeff "Hamtone" Hamilton (who also produced the "4 more songs of love and war" E.P.) titled Ready Steady GARON! 11 Garon originals plus one by Naomi Neville round out the David BowieT-Rex influenced album released by KRE Music in March 2003. Milwaukee radio stations WMSE and WLZR are already spinning selected tracks while two tracks will be appearing in the independent movie Coffee Refills are Free due out early 2003. With his relocation to southern California, a new band and a new look that will surly prove Garon is the next level of rock-n-roll excellence.
