Producer/rapper Dealin' Dubbs is from St. Louis, Missouri a Midwestern city halfway between everywhere. St. Louis born Dealin' Dubbs made his initial impact with W!*dhead The Album in 1999, through Jonata Records, a Louisiana based indie record label.
Relocating to Texas, the last of his many locales is where he put together Undastreet MusicEnhancement, an indie artist music production/promotions company, with the help from good friends/business partners Keef Caben, D. Cade, and later Kampayne. Together they are able to display a positive image, with personal time donations to local businesses, local artist education of the music industry, and music production.
Dealinâ Dubbs put together a lighter side of dark hip hop music, from there his ambient rap style of music evolved. This style blended ambient trance and funk influences with topical commentary and displayed a terse, though smooth rap style that was sometimes satirical, sometimes tough, and sometimes silly. Many influences include, Redman, Metallica, Run DMC, Linkin Park, Keef Caben, D.Cade, Disfigured, Lloyd Banks, DJ Quik, Kottonmouth Kings, and The Beastie Boys.
Dealinâ Dubbs currently applies his considerable producer/rap talents to both his own material and compositions commissioned by clients in the independent music industry.
