The Gimps are a transcontinental music group inspired by the pain and irony of life. As opposed to crying over the proverbial spilled milk, we tend to embrace the hard times. We never try to be too much of one thing. We get off on playing with influences while always trying to channel the spirit of Brian Eno to help us see our vision through.
The debut release on goodluck/badluck records is titled "Nothing New for Trash Like You" and features 12 songs written and recorded by Chris Matule and Johnny Nova. The album displays the sensitive and hostile sides of us. The third member of the band, Dwight Diablo, is currently conducting "research" for new song material.
