Greyish Quartet was formed in Birmingham during early 2008.

The group consists of David Grey (piano), Amy Fletcher (woodwind), Nick Jurd (double bass) & Jim Bashford (drum kit).

Playing a combination of original material and creative arrangements, the band has made strong musical developments in the direction of jazz, hip-hop and improvised music.

This had led to several high profile gigs as well as the recording of an album, "Hummingbird Hill" which is now completed and availble for purchase online and at gigs.

The group has performed at numerous venues in and around the city, including the University of Birmingham, The Cross in Moseley, The White Swan & the infamous Yardbird Jazz Club.
