Jamming together since 2000, Quixotic consists of 5 members- Mike Bearden on guitar, Jordan Miceli on Bass, Cole Burns on Drums, Hayes Ohlinger on Turntables, and Nate Larsen on Vocals. After 4 years of playing, Mike and Jordan pursued their musical interests further by moving from their hometown of Taos, New Mexico to St. Paul, Minnesota, enrolling at Mcnally Smith School of Music. Upon receiving their degrees in guitar and bass performance the band reunited in MN in late 2005. Through school, Mike and Jordan met keyboardist Brandon DâAgostino who would fit right in to the bands style and quickly became their 6th member. For the next 3 years Quixotic moved their way through the hip hop scene, taking advantage of all the Twin Cities had to offer opening for numerous artists including Solillaquists of Sound, Carnage, Capaciti, Kanser, Abzorbr, Rek the Heavyweight(formally Spawn of Atmosphere) and Omaur Bliss just to name a few. Their shows spanned from the greater MPLS area to their home state playing the Santa Fe Muzik Fest with Wu-Tang Clan, Public Enemy, Hieroglyphics, Bassnectar, and George Clinton among others in 2007. In September 2008, the band decided to move to Portland, OR to explore a new music scene and expand their fan base network. Brandon decided to stay in Minnesota with his fiancé raising their new baby girl, Amelia, in hopes of rejoining the band in Portland soon.
