She is a 1997 Grammy nominee vocalist for her lead vocal contribution to the 1997 "Shakin' A Tailfeather" Childrens CD recorded with Linda Tillery, Taj Mahal, Eric Bibb and a host other top notch international musicians and singers. The legendary blues singer, guitarist and songwriter, Taj Mahal is featured on two songs with Emma Jean,Everyday People and Rockin' Robin. She has also performed as a slave in the production of "The Underground Railroad" presented in Remy, France, San Francisco's Fort Point and Jacob's Pillow in Massachussette.
