What began in 2006 as a general idea about reaching the youth through popular forms of media is now a very focused effort to discover, develop, and distribute the best Catholic Music from around the world. Rocking Romans' goal is to position Catholic Music to compete successfully with secular music so as to bring the Good News and hope of the Gospel to a very broad audience. Because Catholicism encompasses the fullness of faith and the truth of the human person, it inspires excellent music that can reach all peoples in a meaningful way. What Rocking Romans refers to as Catholic Music, then, transcends genre as it conveys the Good News about Christ and what He has done for us.

Rocking Romans sent invitations around the globe for artists to share their Catholic Music with us. In the end, we chose the work of 15 artists from 4 countries to be included in the 2008 Best of New Catholic Music compilation. Blessed with outstanding sound quality, authentic lyrics, variety of styles, and international perspectives, this compilation truly is a showpiece for Catholic Music. Enjoy!
