Rob Fischer has been writing songs for quite a few years in quite a few places.
Growing up in Minnesota, he listened to different types of music and began writing his own material as soon as he picked up a guitar. He has always been fascinated by the art of meshing it all together: lyrics, mood and melody. Songwriting and the creative process have always been the focus for him.
Having lived his adult life in different parts of the world, his life experiences and musical influences have been many, but more often than not he returns to a softer, more subtle sound that allows equal time for the lyrics. âListen to your wild sideâ represents work written in New York, Bangkok, Brazil, France and Panama; a rich landscape, indeed, to draw inspiration from.
Rob lives in France with his wife, an artist, and their two children. He is currently working on a songbook for children.
