Nina has been fascinated with music since she was very young. At an early age, her parents enrolled her in piano lessons which provided the foundation for her musical journey. It was because of this foundation in piano, and the coaching of her parents that several more instruments were added to her repertoire over the next several years. These instruments included the flute, orchestra bells, ocarina, violin, and penny whistle.
The highlight of her musical endeavors began in 2002 when she was introduced to the harp. This beautiful instrument quickly became very popular with everyone she met. It wasnât long before she was being asked to play for public events at weddings, receptions, tea parties, church functions, nursing homes, bridal & baby showers, funerals and many special occasions.
Nina was greatly encouraged to make a recording of her arrangements. After diligent effort, âWonderful Peaceâ was recorded in 2004, and âWith Chords of Loveâ in 2007.
Nina is glad to be involved in the music program at Lehigh Valley Baptist Church where she is a member. (www.lvbaptist.org) Some of her ministries there include: singing in the adult choir, a vocal ensemble, a vocal trio; playing for the congregational hymns & junior church, in string ensembles, and combinations of her other instruments with different musical groups. She is part of a hand bell choir, and plays the orchestra bells in her church orchestra.
The Bibles says in Hebrews 13:15, âBy him therefore let us offer a sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.â
Ninaâs recordings are offered as a sacrifice of praise to the Lord for his abundant grace on her life and the life of her family. The messages that are given in each of these songs speak to her heart and prayerfully will speak to yours as well.
