BIOGRAPHY:
Alive with harmonious melodies and powerful orchestration, GEE DAVEY is fast becoming a force to reckon with... or at least, one to listen to.
Formed from the remnants of local favorites like SUFFER FOOL, WITHOUT WARNING, NARCOTIC GYPSY and WORLD STRANGER , GEE DAVEY is comprised of Jack Bielata (Vocals), Michael Bontempi (Drums), Wayne Macgregor (Bass) and DJ Pearlman (Guitars).
Their sound is the result of their collective years of experience with both recording and producing kick-ass music. Their influences range from Foo Fighters to Train and Stone Temple Pilots to Fuel, but their sound is definitely all their own. It is a mix of hard rock and alternative stylings, blended with poignant lyrics and catchy riffs.
GEE DAVEY is a powerhouse of potent new music whose songs will make you want to sing along.

THE MAKING OF SPARTICLE:
The first full-length album from the band, SPARTICLE offers a truly telling look into the sounds of GEE DAVEY. Written and recorded throughout 2005 and early 2006, the band built this album from the ground up, from writing and recording, to mixing and producing.
We ran into many problems trying to get this project done. From scheduling conflicts and other personal obligations, it wasnât even certain that we would ever finish it, so in September we took the three songs that we had been able to complete, and put them out on the Sparticle EP. After that, we just decided to get it âdoneâ and pushed hard through the end of 2005 until all the tracks were down. in early 2006 we remixed the original three songs from the EP, and added in the remaining seven songs that would eventually become SPARTICLE.
We worked hard on this, we hope you enjoy it.
