Noah Collins is pure, Americana. And at 24 years old, his reputation as one of the regionâs hottest up and coming independent folk artists is growing like wildfire. Collins is a Chattanooga native. With coarse, heart-filled vocals comparable to Manchester-born musician David Gray and American songwriter Jackson Browne, Collins is a regular at regional venues like Decaturâs Eddieâs Attic, Chattanoogaâs Rhythm and Brews, Nashvilleâs Bluebird Café. During a 24 month stay in the Dominican Republic, living in the âcampos,â Collins developed his percussive finger picking style. Americana-UK gave his debut album âHeart on a Lineâ 7 of 10 stars after its release in 2008. âI never planned on becoming a songwriter,â he recalls, âbut it came naturally.â Noah Collins is a member of The Americana Music Association.
