Shane Worley is in his early thirties and lives in the remote country community of Gruetli / Laager, Grundy County, Tennessee. He was born as country as you can get on the mountain he still resides on. His grandfather made moonshine to support the family. That's the roots of Shane Worley, country singer supreme. Shane has a bachelors degree in English, and is also a journalist. Combine his roots, experience, mastery of the language, and his raw-boned but silky country baritone voice and you will get an artist who can write a real country song and make a truly great country CD album. Shane chooses not to go the way of Nashville, perforning with his band on self booked shows and tours. He has toured abroad many times, playing to audiences who favor authenticity over pyrotechnics and "Pretty Boy" images.
