Debuting with his first EP âPurple Skiesâ, instrumental rock guitarist William Tait brings a new and fresh approach to the guitar and songwriting. From Alabama, William combines many influences ranging from southern blues to raw, experimental rock. With a plan, William gathered Pace Holdbrooks on rhythm guitar, Chandler Mills on bass, Tyler Dennis on keyboard and Alex Hames on drums. Producer Doug Jansen Smith from Sound Cell Studios helped the guys on their first EP and thus, âPurple Skiesâ was created. You can hear certain quirks and oddities throughout his songs that really embellish and enhance his own unique style. With extreme motivation and determination, William plans to start from the beginning and work to the top. To paraphrase Will Smith, âThereâs a redemptive power on choosing what youâre gonna be in life. You make a choice, decide what itâs gonna be, who youâre gonna be and how youâre gonna do it. From that point, the universe will get out your way.â
