It's been a long time, but here's that recording I alway promised to those who were kind enough to ask at various gigs. It's my usual mix of blues and original material - I hope it fills that blues mandolin chasm in your life (bet you never realized you were so unfulfilled).
For the mandophiles out there - I know you have to know - I used my 21 Gibson F2 on all cuts except "Way you do" where I played electric slide mandolin on a Chris Eccleshall solid bodyweight string electric; Autumn Leaves Part I adn "When did you leave Heaven?" I used my Vega Pettine Special (circa 1908) and on "Pinewood Waltz" and "When did you leave Heaven?" I also used an old Romanian mandola - it's nothing special but I like it!. The guitar used is a 1965 Levin.

Big thank yous to james who played double bass, Russell Frampton for guitar on Annabelle, Gareth Hedges - guitar on Shunting Yard Blues and Sarah who sang on Annabelle and Song for an Artist. Otherwise it's down to me. The instruments used were mandolin, mandola, guitar, bass, percussion, slide guitar and the flute sound which is actually an old British Military fife.

This CD is dedicated to Sarah, Tom, Jack, Olivia, JB and the great accordionist Ros Hamilton.
