1000 creates music and art that moves people and encourages them to have life-changing experiences with God in an open, honest environment.

Led by the 25-year old husband and wife team of Steven and Amanda Potaczek, who are also staffed worship leaders at the Indianapolis Vineyard Community Church, the group normally travels as a four-piece. âWe are psalmists, writing songs that are vulnerable, transparent prayers, which express the inexpressible for others,â says Steven. Stylistically, 1000 generations has a piano-driven, world-influenced pop sound often compared to that of Peter Gabriel, Michael W. Smith, and Caedmonâs Call.

Since the release their debut album in 2003, the group has been garnering quite a following among young to middle-aged adults.
