Fun and singing along is the name of the game with Miss Ninaâs debut childrenâs album. An eclectic mix of Jazz, Blues and a touch of Rock, this is kids music theyâll never get tired of, and neither will the parents!

Miss Nina got her singing start while performing on stage & screen, and sheâs brought that same level of excitement and joy that sheâs known for there to her debut album of original childrenâs songs. Born out of both her New York City preschool classes and her time as a teacher for Gymboree Play & Music, "Singing and Dancing Together" is eleven of her studentsâ favorite songs, all of which are constant requests at her many live performances and playgroups in the New York City area. Her contagious joy for life, music and togetherness is a well-known commodity, and sheâs now greeted on the streets of NYC by adults and children alike with big smiles and waves â âHi Miss Nina!â

At the end of each semester at Woodside Preschool, Miss Nina would give out a CD of some simple recordings of her studentsâ favorite songs. Soon she got feedback like, âOur whole familyâs been listening to your CD on our summer road trips!â and âThat CD is the best thing you could have every given us! My 2-year-old son will sit in front of the CD player listening and playing along, and Iâm able to go get the dishes done!â After a while though, the comments changed a bit, âNina, we love you and we love your voice, but could you please do another CD, weâve listened to this one hundreds of times and I need something new!â

And so the idea for a CD was born: Seven original songs, a medley of sing-along favorites, a music version of Karen Ehrhardtâs successful childrenâs book âThis Jazz Manâ, and a couple of other classics later, "Singing & Dancing Together" was completed. A 30-minute CD of songs that Nina hopes will keep your child engaged in play, dancing, singing and imagination for the duration. And one that adults will find themselves singing along to as well!
