Pain, trauma, and negative emotions are known to be associated with the aftermath of having an abortion. After her personal abortion experience, Merle became familiar with living with many of these emotions firsthand. Existing for years with secret agony, torment, and guilt, her search for peace, purpose and wholeness led to the pages of the Holy Scriptures. There she discovered liberating promises, offering her forgiveness from the past, and hope for the future.
