Briana Scott bursts onto the scene with the release of her 15-track debut solo project âWhile Iâm Hereâ, a mix of Contemporary and Inspirational songs that nurture the soul, spiritually. The project was released under Brianaâs own label, Waterbrooke Music (Psalm 42:1).

The âWhile Iâm Hereâ project contains songs that are spiritually uplifting, encouraging and inspiring. Brianaâs love for God and her passion for His music are felt as you listen to her delivery and interpretation of some of the most intimate songs of worship.

Producers for the project were Paul David of Kadesh Productions and Jeffrey Arnold, Jr. Musicians were Jeffrey Arnold Jr., Terrence James (Eddie James), Ro'ni Jones, Arthur âBuddieâ Strong (Karen Clark Sheard, Israel Houghton, Usher), Aubrey Roumo, Naomi Mills, Paul David, and Terry Dillard (Rezound).

Some of the projectâs most prominent songs include âBrand New Dayâ, âWhile Iâm Hereâ, âNothingâs Too Hardâ. The worship medley featuring songs âHere I Am To Worshipâ and âI Give You My Heartâ, penned by Tim Hughes and Hillsongâs worship leader Reuben Morgan is a seamless arrangement that leads to a throne room experience. Her versatility is shown as she appeals to Latin America with her bilingual recording of âHonorâ, written by Eddie James (Karen Wheaton Ministries). Briana duets with good friend Ronnie Jack on the song âI Canât Forgetâ. Letâs not forget her original song âClean Heartâ honored by Billboard as an exceptional composition and Fill This Place written by Keith Johnson of El Paso, Texas has remained on Gospel Cribâs Top 20 Indie Charts for more than 32 weeks, originally debuting at No. 1. Briana is impacting Traditional Radio (Contemporary Christian & Gospel Formats), XM Satellite Radio, Cable TVâs Music Choice Radio and Internet Radio. She is really creating a buzz in the industry. Briana is a 2007 Stellar Awards Nominee for New Artist of the Year and Contemporary Female of the Year.

Briana has been asked to appear on TBN as well as conferences and concerts around the world. She was blessed with the opportunity to honor world-renowned and highly revered pastors Bishop Charles Blake (West Angeles C.O.G.I.C. in Los Angeles), Pastor E.V. Hill II (Calvary Temple Pentecostal Church in North Hollywood and Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church), and Bishop Ernestine Reems-Dickerson (Center of Hope Community Church in Oakland) with her ministry of song. She has been blessed with the opportunity to open for and share the gospel music platform with nationally known artists, such as, Dr. Mattie Moss Clark & the Clark Sisters, Tramaine Hawkins, John P. Kee, Israel Houghton, Kim Burrell, Sandy Patti, Eddie James and a host of others.

Briana currently serves as a worship leader at First Institutional Baptist Church in Phoenix, AZ where her pastor is Dr. Warren H. Stewart Sr. In addition to being an anointed psalmist and lyricist; Briana is a wife, mother, teacher and student of the word. âThe word of God is my song;â therefore, âLet my heart be sound in thy statutes; that I be not ashamedâ (Psalm 119:80).
