Muzeel Fairley
New CD Release...."Show Some Sign"
Muzeel Fairley was born November 13, 1952 in Biloxi Mississippi to the proud parents of Alec and Cleo Fairley. The oldest of nine children, Muzeel developed a love for music at a very early age. The love of music afforded Muzeel the opportunity to attend Mississippi State University on a music scholarship. Muzeel is an accomplished guitarist, trumpeter, and vocalist.
"The Gospel Music Evangelist"
His music ministry began at a small independent church in Gautier Mississippi were he was minister of music for several years after yeilding his life to Christ. Muzeel was instrumental in organizing and directing an a capello mens quartet where he was what he calls a "utility vocalist", (singing lead or any one of the background vocals) in the absence of one of the quartet members. Muzeel's evangelistic journey began when he became part of a team that visited nursing and retirement homes, as well as those behind prison bars.
In 1996, Muzeel moved to Atlanta Georgia. In 1998, he found himself a church home at a local church where he became minister of music. After four years he felt it was time to move on and accepted an interim position at another north metro Atlanta church on the condition that they hire a full time person as soon as was possible. In 2005, a full time minister of music was hired and Muzeel began to apply himself whole-heartedly to the ministry wherein he is sure that God has called him, as a solo artist.
Muzeel has ministered across the country at weddings, revivals, memorial services, conferences, christenings, dedication ceremonies, gospel showcases and other Christ centered events. Muzeel is currently promoting his first CD release "Show Some Sign", on the independent label "Take One Records".
