What do you get when take a Big Orange Bear, his feisty friend (a tree-dwelling Treezle), a City Guy with a Country Gal and put them all together in a magical place called The Hollow Woods?
One of the coolest albums ever to come along for kids - Buster Bear and Company's: "You Gotta Play it Safe".

Where did it all begin..?

Tim Piper and Mike Sievers were as unlikely to meet as Mercury and Mars but that's exactly what happened one night under a tornado warning in the upper midwest when both of their musical groups happened to be performing nearby to each other.

Becoming fast friends and finding much in common creatively, Tim temporarily moved from Los Angeles to Ohio where Mike introduced him to a character he'd originally created for the Children's Hospital from his own experience and desire to help alleviate the fear and anxiety he witnessed first hand associated with the children's need for prolonged medical care and attention. Hence, the birth of Buster Bear.

Initially working for organizations including The Children's Miracle Network, The D.A.R.E. program in various elementary schools, theme parks and family festivals - eventually being adopted as representatives for the Ohio P.T.A., this award-winning group developed and performed their show teaching life skills in a style of their own with catchy, kid-friendly tunes that Piper refers to as: "Barney meets the Beatles".

Being parents themselves and wanting to make their music and message available to children everywhere, they set off on a common goal combining their talents in song writing and production while adding Mike's talented wife Susan with her huge heart and sensational singing along with an irrepressible two feet tall rebellious rodent named Hecktor.

And now it's here: "You Gotta Play it Safe" with 14 original, fabulous, fun-filled songs welcoming kids to use their imagination and join in on an adventure to The Hollow Woods where they can laugh, sing and play while being entertained and educated all at the same time.
