Rick Brockner's music career covers almost fourty years with songs played on the radio all over the world. With "Black Mountain Brew" one gets the best of Rick's work with dulcimer, fiddle and mandolin. Rick's first dulcimer CD "Fiddlin' With A Dulcimer" was a break through recording for the dulcimer. Rooted in traditional mountain music yet seen through the eyes of todays artist. The song "Fiddlin' With A Dulcimer" went on to be the music for the Silver Award winning documentary "Continental Ohio" produced by PBS Ohio. Four of Rick's song are used by the state of North Carolina in the film Blue Ridge By-Ways. The history of the Blue Ridge Parkway and western Carolina to be shown to all students in the fourth Grade. Rick's work has been well reviewed by Art Menius and Dulcimer Player News and others. Rick has one foot in the past and the other in today and dulcimer music keeps growing and moving forward.
