ITâS been a long time coming, but hard-hitting Brisbane four-piece BRINDLE is set to take the wraps off its long awaited debut album It Takes An Army.

Released on November 14 through SugarRUSH Records/Modern Music/Sony BMG, It Takes An Army covers some serious sonic territory and proves Brindle to be a band more interested in pushing their boundaries, than jumping on the latest musical bandwagon.

Already, the record is garnering national attention with glossy music mag Hotpress describing the track Fight You For It as: â...dramatic, sexy, blistering handclap rock for fans of PJ Harvey or the Von Bondies.â

And that willingness to mix things up has been perfectly realized with Closer the first track to radio from the new album. A sugar-coated, three minute slice of fuzz soaked pop, Closer showcases the bandsâ ability to pen pop gems alongside the darker noise rock territory that has fueled their powerful live performances. Closer has already been receiving airplay on Triple J and numerous community stations across Australia and dozens of college stations across the US and Canada.

The band were recently invited to take part in Canadin Music Week which saw the band showcase to the North Amercian music industry and embark on a run of shows in Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal.
