Details:
Born Ramon Vasquez and Zoilo Rivera respectively, the duo of Tito y Soylo are a bright hot comet of rhythm and dynamic energy making their mark in a genre that fuels todayâs hottest musical Urban Latino movement. A musical genre that distinguishes itself and sets itself apart by fusing Jamaican dancehall with Panamanian reggae root. Setting themselves apart with music so unique that it has the ability to cross gender lines and appeal to all races and ages, Tito y Soylo have quickly become household names in their home town on the music scene and as respected artist. They have performed in local clubs such as âRumbaâsâ, "Dragonflyâs", âThe Villageâ and âChameleonsâ also at Club Duvet and The China Club in New York City. They have captivated audiences as they performed on stage during the Puerto Rican Festivals in Philadelphia and their home town of Lancaster, PA. Tito y Soylo has also featured in numerous mix tapes/cds collaborating with local underground groups in Lancaster, PA. They recently appeared in Dj. Carlitos from âTo Much To Handle Djâsâ from N.Y.C. Mix Cd titled âClub Madness Vol. 2â. This earned them a slot on the Miss Stacey DTF Satalite Radio Show in the upcoming artist segment. They have placed top 10 spots on the Tropical, Latin and Dance/Club genres in a music compitition website www.ourstage.com/fanclub/titoysoylo where they ended collaborating with international artist Dona Maria. Where they remixed "No Quiero"(La Mosh Aayza) a number one hit in her native country of Lebanon, Beirut. They are currently working on a Salsa remix for an upcoming artist in Miami, Florida Leon Cheva titled âDimeâ a fusing of Tropical/Urban Salsa sound mixed with a twist of Hip-Hop/Reggaeton feel. Tito y Soylo have also opened up events in York, Reading, Allentown and Philadelphia PA., and performed on the same stage with major artist in the Urban Latino movement with the likes of Julio Voltio, Zion, TitoâEl Bambinoâ, Trebol Clan, Glow, and Nicky Jam to name a few.
Hailing from Caye, Puerto Rico and crediting their musical influences to Reggaeton pioneers Vico C, El General, Wisin y Yandel and Daddy Yankee this dynamic duo lays down their own stamp on the world of Reggaeton, making them not only original, but a breath of fresh air with insightful lyrics and drive for excellence that refuses the thought of mediocrity. Their love for music is their bond and their unique chemistry lyrically and as performers is what sets them apart. Evidenced by their hit âAmor En La Pistaâ for which they also filmed a video that can be seen on their website on www.youtube.com. Tito y Soylo continue breaking new grounds in the fusing of their Urban Latin flow with Rock, Hip-Hop and Techno, Club/Dance tracks that can be displayed in their tracks âPa La Discoâ, âBailaâ, âFast N Slowâ and their tribute to Freestyle music âNo Puedo Olvidarteâ where they showed their ability to cross racial boundries by recording a Spanish/English track. Tito y Soylo even show tribute to their roots by remixing a salsa classic by Lalo Rodriguez âSi, Te Mentiâ with an urban feel. Their forthcoming debut album âTumbando Puertasâ promises to be the hottest album yet, as respected friends and colleagues with the likes of Marisol, Bibi, Panamanian Rapper Naughty Cat, C.o a.k.a. âThe Faceâ,Los Koketos, Ralph REAL and Jon ROCKER collaborate and lend their particular styles to this dynamic twosome.
They consider as their driving force the support received from their families and fans, something well evidenced in their upcoming debut album âTumbando Puertasâ where their excellent fusing reflects growth and maturity, while continuing to honor the genre for which they are known. Tito y Soylo are definitely âLa Nueva Era De Genero Urbano Latinoâ (The New Era of the Urban Latino Genre).
