Trio Del Rio is MaryAnn Price - Voice, Percussion MariLisa â Voice, guitar & Tanner Swain â Voice, guitar and steel.


Trio Del Rio was formed in 2005 pulling together blues, rock, folk, western swing, jazz standards, Dan Hicks songs, MariLisaâs and Tannerâs originals and Mary ann also had some of her own home grown to add. After mixing the musical salad of styles , the voices blending with the songs is where they shines. Everyone sings lead on a third of the songs and with the three part harmonies it balances an eclectic mix of songs and emotions. MariLisa met MaryAnn while taking vocal lessons from her in 1995. MaryAnnâs late husband, Tary Owens was around at that time and took an interest in Marilisaâs voice and original material and decided to record her. Taryâs very last project before he passed away other than his own, "Milegros" was MariLisaâs 2002 âTake a Chanceâ CD. Maryann also sang on the CD and co-produced it as well. Tary and Maryann were married and performed together for many years with the Redemtors(Orange Jefferson, Slim Richie to name a few). MariLisa has been performing for 20 years with 4 solo CDâs not including her childrenâs album, âUp in the a Tree." Tanner and Marilisa are married and have been playing out live together for 8 years. Slowly we brought Maryann out to shows feeling out the right material. Everything started to mesh real well together and then in the winter of 2008 we discovered a young inspiring bass player, George Brown Lohr . He really amazed us with his talent and the music took on a new dimension. Trio Del Rioâs essence is captured in MaryAnn Priceâs grace and freedom, Marilisaâs soulful charming spirit with Tanner Swainâs smooth voice and guitar work.
