Noise maker, Poet, Gramophone manipulator, found instrumentalist, art-fag, turntable battle veteran, tall-tale teller and freelance vagrant.

Theory 77 is a DJ, Producer and MC/poet based in Brighton, East Sussex.

Described by John Peel as âAstonishingâ, Theory 77âs musical style is inspired by lo-fi Folk, Delta Blues, â60âs Psych and the original elements of old school hiphop.

In 2009, after working under the name âTheoryâ since 1994, Theory 77 decided to change his name due to the amount of other artists working under the same alias.

Theory 77 has shared stages with the likes of Buck 65, Company Flow and Edan.
