Details:
Brett Harriss is a 24-year old singer/songwriter who splits his time between Connecticut and New York City. His music easily appeals to a wide audience and has been described as hook driven pop/rock comparable to Dave Matthews.

Brett Harriss is currently working to finish and promote his debut self-titled album. Having partnered with Radio and Retail, Brett has begun a national radio campaign to promote the lead single Rock Star Girl, which has received some immediate success with both slotted airplay and positive feedback from programming managers. WDST â âBrett Harriss has a hit song hereâ. KBOC â âThis song is really catchyâ. In addition, Rock Star Girl was also added to the nationally distributed Friday Morning Quarterback compilation CD featuring the best of AAA radio alongside Nora Jones and Ryan Adams.

Not to be overshadowed by his studio success, Brett remains an accomplished performer and one of the few artists whose live vocals match his recordings. Easily switching between intimate solo acoustic shows and a full band act, Brett is a presence on stage. He is equally comfortable at a small coffee house playing without a mic or on the stage at a packed Arleneâs Grocery. Brett will be playing high schools and music festivals in addition to continuing to book the New York scene in the coming months.

Brett's music career began at age 10 in England, where he was classically trained as a singer and pianist. While attending college in New York, he was exposed to the rock scene helping to develop his distinctive blend of rock and pop.
