Two Feet Forward is a contemporary Christian band with musical roots ranging from pop/rock to bluegrass to modern worship. Their debut album, Put on Love, features 10 original songs that pull heavily from Scripture and focus on the theme of Christian discipleship.

The members of Two Feet Forward â Dan Baker, Ron McRae, and Jack Harper â see themselves not only as musicians, but as ministers. The band is devoted to serving alongside other ministries for the purpose of helping people mature as followers of Christ.

History
Two Feet Forward was founded in 2002 when Ron McRae and Dan Baker met at Covenant Presbyterian Church in Austin, Texas. They each had a long musical history and shared a desire to grow spiritually and serve the body of Christ as music ministers. They soon began writing songs together, studying the Bible, and performing live as a duo. Dan and his wife Kristy were praying one morning about the possibility of adding a drummer to the band, and that night they met Jack Harper, a skilled percussionist with a deep love for God. A songwriter himself with a released solo album, Jackâs drumming and smooth vocal harmonies combined with Ron and Danâs lead vocals to form the signature sound of Two Feet Forward.

The group served as worship leaders at Covenant Presbyterian while developing their original material and ministry approach. In 2005, they completed a pre-release project with the goal of fine-tuning their songwriting, recording, and production skills, while trying to get a better sense of how God was calling them into music ministry. In 2006, Dan, Ron, and Jack began meeting weekly with an Austin-area pastor for the sole purpose of diving deep into Jesusâ teachings and applying Scripture to songwriting. The fruits of that effort resulted in Two Feet Forwardâs debut full-length album, Put on Love.

Dan Baker
Dan is a songwriter, lead vocalist, guitarist, and piano player for Two Feet Forward. He has played in bands since age 13, worked as a recording studio engineer, and now works full-time as an electrical engineer. He has been writing Christian songs for 11 years and has served as a volunteer youth leader and worship leader for several churches. Dan is married to Kristy.

Ron McRae
Ron is a songwriter, lead vocalist, electric and upright bass player, and acoustic guitarist for Two Feet Forward. Ron has been making music for nearly 30 years, and works full-time as a library software analyst. Ron is married to Erin, and they have two children, Natalie and Cameron.

Jack Harper
Jack is the drummer, percussionist, and backing vocalist for Two Feet Forward. He has been recording and performing for more than 20 years, and has been leading church worship services for nearly 10 years. Jack is married to Pam and they have two terrific kids, Jack and Allison.
