Details:
Who are we? We're BROOKFIELD, a three-piece band hailing from central Massachusetts, and we want you to have a good time: we'll supply the soundtrack.
In January of 2004, we got together as a rock-based quartet with elements of reggae, punk, soul, funk and more, creating songs that were catchy, energetic, and fun for everyone. As DIY is how we live, we built Brookfield Studios, where we recorded and mixed Maybe This Time, our debut album, which is available at www.cdbaby.com. After our placing in the national finals of the Emergenza Music Festival in June of 2005, we took a bit of a break, and now we're ready to come back stronger than ever.
Our new studio album, (engineered by Mike LaPierre, who has worked with Matchbook Romance, Brand New, Death Cab for Cutie), is our first album as a trio, with bassist Justin Steu Steuer taking on lead vocal duties. Guitarist/twin Adam Scrads Bilz is singing as well, and rhythm doctor/twin Matt Matteo Bilz continues to give us the groove we need to do what we do. The music is everything we've ever wanted it to be, and we hope you enjoy listening to it as much as we enjoy playing it!
