Details:
Bryan Diamond's talent is legendary on the Monterey Peninsula, located on the central coast of California. Renowned for his note-perfect covers of classic rock songs, executed using just an acoustic guitar and voice, Diamond has just completed his first CD of all original compositions.

Diamond grew up in the San Fernando Valley, a suburb of Los Angeles, and started playing guitar at age 8. His earliest public performance was at school.

"It was for a school drama presentation and we each had to recite extensive lines from memory. I came out with my guitar and performed Arlo Guthrie's 'Alice's Restaurant' [all 18 minutes!] in its entirety."

Diamond continued to sharpen his performing skills, and his repertoire continued to grow.

At age 14, Diamond began writing and peforming music with fellow student Paul Crane.

After graduating high school, Diamond traveled to Monterey. The Monterey Peninsula had a thriving live music scene, and Diamond found an enthusiastic audience for his music. "I started playing in the local restaurants and bars when I was 18 ..."

Diamond performs as a solo artist and with his band at night spots all over the Monterey Peninsula.

With the release of this, his very first CD, Diamond's fans finally have a chance to enjoy his self-penned tunes.

Recorded at Greystone Studios in Monterey and engineered by Jim Chatterton and Richard Bryant, the album features 12 tracks co-written by Diamond and Paul Crane. The band lineup on the CD is Who's Who of top local Monterey area musicians, featuring electric guitarist Tom Ayres, Bassist Marty Lydon, Don Pendergrass on keyboards, Drummer, Kim Edmundson and the fabulous horn section of Roger Eddy, Hart Smith and Brian Stock. Katherine Reclusado and Richard Bryant provide a beautiful blend of backing harmony vocals.

In addition to enjoying his CD, you can hear Bryan perform live most nights in beautiful Monterey. Bryan's show schedule is available at Bryandiamond.com.
