Brittany Ellis has been involved with all aspects of music since a very early age, but became devoted to a future in it when she began playing the violin and writing at age 12. Soon after, she began to play the Irish penny whistle, harmonica and bagpipes. At 14, she began to travel internationally with the prophetic ministry of Kim Clement and still continues to perform with he and his band. In 2003 she joined up with the gospel bluegrass group Furman Boyce and the Harmony Express. This was her first introduction to bluegrass - since then she has developed a deep appreciation and love for the genre. Being involved with the bluegrass group provided an opportunity for her to be recognized by evangelist Ray Hughes and his band The Selah Project. In the summer of 2004 she performed with them weekly at the Historic Ryman auditorium in downtown Nashville. Up to this day, Brittany has been involved in more than a dozen recording projects, traveled extensively in the United States, Ireland and Amsterdam. She has played on stages where legendary artist such as Elvis and Johnny Cash have performed and in coliseums for thousands of people. Currently, Brittany is attending college at UNC-Greensboro studying music and playing with Global Repercussions, an amazing world music fusion group. She continues to travel with Prophet Kim Clement and plays occasionally at Morningstar ministries in Charlotte, NC with Leonard Jones and his band. She has also just completed her first album produced and co-written by Leonard Jones and is planning to do many more albums in the future.
