ANALYSIS:
"SON OF A BOY NAMED SUE", written and first recorded in 1999 by Bobby Rivers, is an original sequel song to Johnny Cash's top ten smash hit "A Boy Named Sue", which was written by Shel Silverstein. In "Son of a Boy Named Sue", this kid named Bill or George is more like his Grandfather than Father and winds up marrying, you guessed it, a girl named Sue! This is a great song, and now here recorded live by Bobby and the band '3's COMPANY', it's even better than before!

This band is made up of 3 musicians who have many years of experience in both the music and entertainment field. The band plays a variety of hit songs from the 50âs and 60âs to Country, to some newer numbers. A comment from vocalist Bobby Rivers sums up the attitude of the band, "This lineup has incredible chemistry. I think we all just want to see how much fun and laughter we can pack into 3 or 4 hours without getting into trouble. If I'm too exhausted to pack up my amp at the end of the night, it was a good show then."
