A novel that spotlights the drug culture of the nineteen seventies. Michael, the main character, is found going through a reflective time where he wants closure to a period of his life filled with drugsa period that stands as a beacon to a kind of happiness that he cant seem to find anymore. His sense of happiness is firmly rooted there and so he examines his past one last time, trying to gain a sense of understanding as to why he finds it hard to let go.
The reader is walked through four different episodes that go a ways in defining that period, concluding in the end with his leaving it behind.
Its a story that encompasses youth, living in the past, and its resolution.
