If alternative prog rock swallowed pop punk rock, there would be an explosion of magical sounds much similar to those found on BomberMan Awesome's "Fantastica."
18 MP3 Songs
ROCK: Punk, ROCK: Progressive Rock
Details:
Fantastica is like listening to The Neverending Story meets Alice in Wonderland meets the Hard Rock Cafe. It takes the listener on a musical field trip through a variety of concepts that interfere with the everyday thinking of someone about to undergo a major life change. It illustrates the frustrations and hesitations of leaving behind loved ones and a familiar place.
Fantastica captures BomberMan Awesomeâs taste for classic prog rock and hard alternative punk rock. Merging the styles together began as a mere science experiment to fulfill the bandâs wild curiosity. Surprisingly, the more time they spent in the âlabâ (their home studio in Bozeman, MT) the more they realized they were onto something. Something⦠different.
Fantastica was released in June 2004, right before BomberMan Awesome relocated to Seattle, WA. The album was well-received by loyal fans of the bandâs first release, The Modern Day, as well as by new fans picked up from the 2004 Fantastica Tour. The band collaborated with Aver Ingenuity to shoot a five-star music video that was featured on Big Sky Xtremeâs Thunderstruck III (www.bigskyx.com). The video can be watched for free at www.averingenuity.com.
If you enjoy Fantastica, please check out BomberMan Awesome's first release, The Modern Day, and keep an eye out for their upcoming release on Recordland Records in early 2007.
